Students are to meet at the Lovelock Street gate. Whanau, caregivers and families are invited to attend this event.  Following the Powhiri, Year 9 students will spend the day participating in the orientation programme with their form teachers and buddy prefects. New students in other year levels will take part in an orientation programme between 10.00am - 12.00pm. The school day will end at 3.00pm.

Junior Prize Giving 2017

Junior Prize Giving 2017

Junior Prize Giving will be held on Wednesday 13 December beginning promptly at 10.30am in the school’s Barclay Hall. We invite all family and friends to attend this ceremony to celebrate the many successes of our junior students. We ask that all those attending be seated ready to start at 10.30am. At the end of Junior Prize Giving, students will be released and that will be the end of the 2017 school year for them.

Notice to all Whakatane High School Year 13 students who are not returning next year:
Year 13 Google accounts will be deleted in late December 2017. Students wishing to retain data from their school account will need to make arrangements for personal storage as soon as possible after exams. Any student data contained within the WHS network will also be removed. This applies to all data associated with students logging onto Windows and Apple desktops.
