We are seeking a candidate who will work as part of a highly collaborative Future Focussed Learning team. They will bring knowledge in teaching across the curriculum, and may have experience in primary or middle school teaching. Building strong relationships will be a strength.

The successful candidate will teach another subject by negotiation. There may be leadership opportunities with a 1MU available by negotiation. Please state your teaching strengths.

Science Laboratory Technician

Part-time 22 hours per week, during school terms

Whakatane High School requires a Science Laboratory Technician with Level 2 (or equivalent) chemistry who is familiar with the Code of Practice for School Exempt Laboratories.

Experience working with laboratories chemicals is essential, with proven organisational skills and attention to detail. The successful applicant will need to have a passion for supporting teachers and have excellent teamwork and people skills.
