OUT OF ZONE

Whakatane High School has an enrolment zone. Check out this document to see if you fall within our school's zone or whether you will need to enrol as an out-of-zone student.

The board has determined that up to 40 places are likely to be available for out-of-zone students in Year 9 next year. The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone. The board has also made the decision that the school will be closed to ALL other out-of-zone applications from Year 10-13 for 2025.

If you are an out-of-zone student, you will need to fill out an out-of-zone priority form (found below). This means you will be entered into our out-of-zone ballot (if required) which is being held on 24 October 2024.
