Who are we?

Rangiatea is a secondary school catering to the educational needs of young parents in the Whakatane area. We deliver all aspects of the NZ curriculum, including NCEA Level 1, 2 and 3.

The school is governed by Whakatane High School in partnership with Te Tohu o Te Ora o Ngati Awa.

Students have access to a wide range of health and social services to support their journey as young parents.

Enrolment

  • Students need to be the primary caregiver of their child/children
  • Under the age of 20
