Senior Courses

The senior school allows a seamless mix of academic and vocational subjects which all contribute to the NCEA qualification.


Year 11 students study English, Mathematics and a Science, plus three other subjects towards NCEA Level 1. All students are expected to achieve their literacy and numeracy requirements by the end of the year. Year 12 students study English and five other subjects towards NCEA Level 2. Year 13 students study five subjects of their choice. Where appropriate, students in year 13 are encouraged to enter the NZ Scholarship examination.
